Filmic Technologies develops high speed and easy to use film scanning solutions, reducing preparation and scanning time for most f ilms from hours to minutes. During an ideal workflow, a single Filmic Technologies’ EZ16 film scanner and inspector can capture over 5M ft of film per year, allowing collection holders to quickly and easily assess the value of their collection and provide digital access to the footage, as either an internal asset or for sale to other organizations and individuals.
EASE OF USE
Designed to be the easiest to operate film scanner ever, the EZ16 doesn’t require special training or education. Operators can learn to use the device in under 30 minutes, scanning motion picture film at 4K quality at real time speeds, and up to 2.5x real time at Full HD quality.
SOFTWARE FIRST APPROACH
Every EZ16 is controlled through EasyReel, allowing future improvements and features to be delivered via a simple software update, including faster scanning, higher resolution image capture, and improved audio quality. Best of all, films only need to be scanned once and can be reprocessed months or years later to gain many of these improvements.
ANALYTICS
Using a custom AI, Filmic Technologies’ EZ line of film scanners/inspectors analyze every frame of film, providing details relating to the health and condition of the film. These Inspection Reports are automatically generated during every project and are unique to Filmic Technologies’ products, software, and workflow.
